BBC set straight on Syria and Russia-phobia in the UK

This week British foreign secretary Boris Johnson called for “demonstrations outside the Russian embassy” because of what Johnson alleges are war crimes committed in Syria by Russian forces. Johnson’s dangerous rhetoric is thought to potentially put the lives of innocent Russian people and diplomats living in the UK under danger.

On what can certainly be considered a rare occurrence: the BBC allowed a genuine dissenting voice to on its airways. Dr Marcus Papadopolous – Russian expert and editor of Politics First – recently talked to a BBC news journalist regarding western media’s disinformation campaign targeting Syria and the west’s irrational fear-mongering over Russia.
